The word original, which comes from the Latin, literally means and implies a ‘beginning or birth’. Much like the birth of a person, an original idea, comes from the fertile mind of a creator or/and someone with artistic and imaginative talent, and brings it into existence for the first time.
Here at Eden Bespoke Flowers, we always use fresh, new flowers. However, as nature itself has been the first creator of all of the beautiful flowers you can see in our shop, and that you can experience when you buy one of our arrangements, how can we say we are providing you with ‘original flowers’?
Let us look at it this way; music has been around since the beginning of life itself. Birds sing out using many different notes and arrangements of notes, that although they can make an inordinate amount of noise during the dawn chorus, no bird species sound exactly alike. The music industry can keep producing original song upon song, regardless of the fact there are only so many notes available. New artists that take these notes and rewrite them to their own style and taste, can be said to be original, fresh and new.
No flower is exactly alike, even within its own species. Even those that look very similar will differ in some way. Did you know that if you took the time everyday to pick just one flower and learn something new about that particular species, it would take you 958 years to do so? There are 369,000 species are flowering plants known to man, and no doubt many more besides. For that reason, in the same way the compositions of music are inexhaustible, the combinations of flowers in each arrangement are also inexhaustible.
However, a lot of the florist companies make it there aim to create arrangements of flowers, much like a production line, where you have a choice of several arrangements to choose from. This is a good idea in some ways, but not at all what you want for a wedding, or another more personal event.
